Charleston Metro Chamber releases local & regional priorities
June 8, 2022The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce the release of its Local & Regional Priorities, which highlights their positions on regional policies and the guiding principles that help them navigate what and how they get involved in the region’s largest issues.
The Chamber’s regional policy positions include their stance on:
- Attainable Housing
- Moratoriums
- Charleston Peninsula Perimeter Protection
- Transportation and Infrastructure (including Mark Clark Completion, Lowcountry Lowline and Lowcountry Rapid Transit)
- Regionalism
The Local & Regional Priorities also includes their Regional Guiding Principles, which focuses on attainable housing, mobility, land use, diversity, equity and inclusion, resiliency and sustainability, business creation, recruitment, retention and expansion, environmental stewardship, hospitality, port development and transportation infrastructure.
