Tipsy Gypsy Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

July 6, 2022

Tipsy Gypsy, or TG Consignment Boutique, opened in Clinton last Friday and today they were welcomed to the community with the official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening with the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce. The store located at 105 E. Main Street in downtown Clinton (previously home to Emma Jane’s).

As a consignment boutique, Tipsy Gypsy will accept new and next to new women’s clothing, shoes (all sizes) bags and accessories and unique home decor and furniture. They will also carry wedding gowns and formal attire and already have a good selection (see photo gallery at the end of this article).

Regular hours will be:

Wednesday and Thursday – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Friday – 12:00 pm -7:00 pm

Saturday – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

They will also be open during Food Truck Monday and other special events in the Clinton downtown area.

Owner Shelby Bruce thanked those attending the grand opening, “Every one of you has played some part in the opening of this store.” “The support of the community has been overwhelming and we are so excited to be open.”

Consignment is by appointment only. Anyone bringing items for consignment will complete and sign a consignment agreement that outlines the terms for the sale and payment when items are sold. Rates are comparable to some of the nicer consignment shops in the Upstate.

Tipsy Gypsy has some really nice things and some very unique items.  Stop by and check it out!
