William Means adds agent with international expertise to team
September 28, 2022William Means Real Estate announced that its team of agents is growing with the addition of Harry Farthing who earned an honors degree in valuation and estate management from the University of the West of England. A published author of two historical fiction novels, Farthing spent the last 30 years consulting on real estate in 18 countries across Europe, the Middle East, as well as North, Central, and South America. Having grown up in the United Kingdom, Farthing has lived and worked as a real estate agent and valuer in London, Lisbon, and Milan.
“My career has given me a wide and varied real estate experience,” said Farthing. “Having lived in Charleston for more than a decade, I have a keen affection for the area, a full appreciation of what it offers, and an understanding of how the local market is developing and changing.”
Farthing is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is also an experienced world traveler and mountaineer, scaling some of the world’s greatest mountains including the Matterhorn in the Alps, Mt. McKinley in Alaska, Shishapangma in Tibet, and Mt. Everest.
