Courthouse Coffee and American Legion Post 25 to Host Kids Coffee Competition

Courthouse Coffee on the Public Square in Laurens is partnering with the American Legion Post 25 for a Kids Coffee Competition.
Beginning Saturday, March 4, and running every Saturday through March 25, your child can create their own coffee drink for the guest judges to sample. The winner each week will have their drink featured on the Courthouse Coffee menu for the coming week.
The cost to compete is small. Contestants are asked to contribute non-perishable food items that will be donated to First United Methodist Church Food Bank. Entry forms can be picked up at Courthouse Coffee or you can email [email protected] to request a form. All entries must be submitted by February 28.
Children in the competition must be in attendance to participate during the judging that will begin at 12:00 p.m. each Saturday. The number of children competing each week will be limited. Each contestant will be notified of the day and time they will compete. If there is a day your child is unavailable please include this information on the entry form.
Guest Judges will include: Mayor Nathan Senn, Main Street Laurens, Jonathan Irick, Palmetto Brothers Dispensary, Wes Meetze, Crystal Turner Sechler, Laurens City Police Chief Keith Grounsell, Rootimentary, Courthouse Coffee very own Tim Davis, Rootimentary head chef and owner Caleb Satterfield, and Palmetto Brothers Dispensary Jennifer Robin Comer.
