The new edition of “Super Lawyers,” a national directory of the country’s top attorneys, includes four from Burnette Shutt & McDaniel.
They’re also listed in “South Carolina Super Lawyers,” a companion piece recognizing outstanding Palmetto State attorneys, in the following categories:

Burnette and Shutt, two of the firm’s co-founders, are both South Carolina Supreme Court Certified Specialists in Labor and Employment Law. They represent clients in state and federal courts in South Carolina, including landmark litigation.
LeFever and Cox focus on a range of civil rights and employment law issues, including discrimination and wage disputes. LeFever’s practice also includes education law, family law and gender-affirming name and gender marker changes. Cox also is part of the firm’s Criminal Justice Civil Rights Team.
