Erin McGee named Top Five Teacher of the Year Finalist

Charleston County School District (CCSD) announced the 2022-2023 Top Five Teacher of the Year Finalists last month. Over the course of the next week (Teacher Appreciation Week), we will introduce each finalist in an in-depth feature article and video highlighting their lives and careers.

Meet Erin McGee who is an AP Human Geography teacher. Following in her mother’s footsteps, McGee hopes to make her mark at Wando High School but not only by imparting knowledge but by being student-centered and doing what is best for students so they can learn global-thinking skills.
