Paddle the Point is perfect for both beginners and advanced paddlers. This race is intended for all skill levels, and while this event is competitive in nature, the focus is on a fun, safe day on the water.
All proceeds of the event will go directly to Charleston County Lifesaving Association, whose mission is to promote and advance aquatic lifesaving in the greater Charleston, SC area through public education, lifeguard training initiatives, competition and community sponsored events. “We are excited to share aquatic safety education with our community and hold the first ever paddle race in Charleston,” says Anthony Tipton, Secretary of CCLA.
