The Patch in Mountville to Host Farmers Market

The Patch in Mountville is excited to announce a new offering for their customers.

Their first farmers market is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2023. The market will be at held at The Patch (389 Waterfall Drive, Mountville SC 29370).

After the first Farmers Market event, the market will be open on Friday (9 am – 2 pm) and Saturday (8 am – 12 pm). Any updates regarding hours and closures will be posted on The Patch social media pages on Instagram and Facebook.

What can you expect at The Patch Farmers Market?

The Patch has invited other local farms from Mountville to sell their goods and produce. At the market you will find:

• The Patch
• Rolling Hill Ranch
• Garrett Family Farms
• The DIY Baker
• Alexander Family Farms

“We started selling our heirloom tomatoes at the Greenwood Farmers Market last summer and we were extremely blessed with positive response to all of our produce. We had many customers ask about purchasing directly from us at The Patch,” said Mary Grace Iusti. “We decided to open the farmers market to create another local shopping experience that brings together local farmers and an opportunity to sell their goods without having to pack up and drive 30 minutes to a market. We hope the community will enjoy market and the ability to buy directly from farms and have fresh produce for their family.”

Not every farm will be there each week, but you can check The Patch social media accounts for a list of vendors each week and what they will bring. Each farm is responsible for taking payments for their goods and from one to another, they may have different payment methods they accept so come prepared.
