Call for Community Support from Hospice of Laurens County
June 12, 2023Hospice of Laurens, now officially VIA Health Partners,is an amazing facility caring for individuals and their families during the end of life journey.
Family members often spend many hours there and it’s nice to have snack baskets available to offer them. Hospice of Laurens County is running low on snacks and is asking the community to help replenish their supply by donating individually packaged snacks.
So the next time you are at the grocery store or stocking up at Costco keep them in mind and grab some snacks that will be much appreciated by those spending time at Hospice of Laurens.
Another option is to order directly from Amazon and have it shipped to Hospice of Laurens county, 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325.
“We are in need of individually wrapped a snack items for the baskets that we prepare for our families who are spending significant amounts of time in the hospice house with their loved one. Items needed include bottled water, chips, crackers, cookies and really any snack that is individually wrapped,” said Angela Bron, Clinical Director of Hospice House, VIA Health Partners founded as Hospice of Laurens County. “The community has always been so supportive of Hospice House and we appreciate any contributions.”
Hospice of Laurens County was established in May 1987 by a group of volunteers who identified a need for Hospice in this community. In 2008 Hospice of Laurens County opened the Hospice House, the first of its kind in Laurens County. They are committed to providing expert end of life care to individuals in their home or their facility which is located at 1304 Springdale Drive, Clinton, SC 29325.
