Jai-Anna is a creative communicator and visual artist with a passion for storytelling through videography and photography. Her role at the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families involves conceptional digital media content creation, traditional printmaking, and implementing communication strategies that will impact the Center’s primary audiences in its mission to engage fathers around the state to become more present and involved in the lives of their children and families.

“I want my work to help the Center build relationships with the fathers in our programs and provide touch points with our donors that will encourage greater participation in this vital mission to fathers and families,” comments Carter.

Dr. Lawrence Ford has recently joined the leadership team at the Center in the role of Director of Marketing and Communications. He brings more than two decades of non-profit leadership to the Center with global experience in the areas of publishing, media, events, public relations, and education. “The work of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families I see as a vital mission in our state,” Ford said. “Healthy and engaged fathers contribute to healthy and productive children for generations to come. My aim is to take our mission strategy and impact to the next level – because fathers matter.”
