Change in Location for City of Laurens Workshop on Boards and Commissions Applications

The City of Laurens would like to inform all interested individuals about a change in the workshop location for Council Members reviewing applications for boards and commissions. The workshop, previously scheduled to take place at CPW’s Training Center, will now be held on the Third Floor at City Hall, located at 126 East Public Square, Laurens, SC 29360.
The change in location is due to ongoing renovations in CPW’s Training Center, which have not yet been completed. The City of Laurens apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and assures attendees that the new venue at City Hall will provide a suitable environment for the workshop.
The workshop remains scheduled for 5:30 pm on June 13, 2023, at the revised location. Council Members will review applications submitted by citizens interested in serving on the Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and the City Roads Advisory Committee.
