The Assistant Head Coach of Track and Field/Throws will oversee the distance program including but not limited to training, assisting with events, and recruiting. This position will assist the Head Coach of Track and Field/Cross Country in all other aspects of the combined track and field program.
• Coaching and teaching various throws events & track and field programs.
• Coaching and teaching student-athletes in all phases in all throwing events
• Oversee all aspects of student-athlete recruiting.
• Conducts individual workouts during the non-traditional season.
• Set-up summer workout programs.
• Oversee the Track and Field/XC program in the absence of the Head Coach.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any area. Proof of valid driver’s license, good driving record and successful background check are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of previous coaching or playing experience preferred. Preferred knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Salary: $32,500
