Regional Job Fair Set for October 5: Connecting Job Seekers and Employers

Piedmont Technical College (PTC) and SC Works/Upper Savannah are joining forces to organize a Job Fair, scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023. The event will run from 10 am to 1 pm and will be hosted at the Medford Family Event Center in Greenwood.
This Job Fair is an excellent opportunity for job seekers to connect with over 40 prominent employers from various sectors across the region. Among the expected employers are industry giants such as BMW Manufacturing, Colgate-Palmolive, Eaton Corporation, Generac, Greenwood Mills, Komatsu America, Martha Franks Retirement Community, Newberry County Memorial Hospital, Prisma Health, Prysmian, Sage Automotive, Teijin Carbon America, West Fraser, and ZF Transmissions.
Job fair attendees are encouraged to come prepared, bringing multiple copies of their resumes and dressing professionally, just as they would for a standard job interview.
