A Magical Adventure: The Wizard of Oz Comes to Laurens County Community Theatre

The magical world of Oz is coming to life on the stage as the Laurens County Community Theatre proudly presents the beloved classic, “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. With captivating music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg, enchanting background music by Herbert Stothart, and expertly crafted dance and vocal arrangements by Peter Howard, this production promises to transport audiences to the fantastical land of Oz. The adaptation, skillfully adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company and based upon the classic motion picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed by Warner Bros., will be showcased at the Clinton High School Auditorium.
