Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer – Clinton High School’s Awareness Walk

October 20, 2023

On October 28th Clinton High School is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at 10:00 am on the school’s track. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer, a cause that has touched the lives of many in our community. The walk is open to all, and a $5 donation is requested for participation, with all proceeds going to the Laurens County Cancer Association.

Breast cancer is a disease that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide. Raising awareness about the importance of early detection, prevention, and support for those battling this illness is crucial. The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Clinton High School is a proactive step toward promoting knowledge and understanding of this prevalent disease.

Participants are encouraged to wear pink, the symbolic color of breast cancer awareness, to show support for the fighters, admiration for the survivors, and to celebrate hope for a future without breast cancer. The event is not only an opportunity to show solidarity with those affected by breast cancer but also a chance to make a positive impact in the community by contributing to the Laurens County Cancer Association.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is proudly sponsored by the Clinton High School Student Council, National Honor Society, and Beta Club. These organizations are dedicated to empowering students and the community to come together for meaningful causes.

Clinton High School welcomes everyone to participate in this event, demonstrating support for individuals and families facing the challenges of breast cancer.

Let us walk and wear pink to make a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can strive for a future where breast cancer is a thing of the past, and hope prevails.
