Abacus Planning Group’s founder, Cheryl R. Holland, CFP ®, inducted into Barron’s Advisor Hall of Fame

For the last 10 years, Cheryl Holland has been ranked as a Top 100 Advisor by Barron’s. This impressive feat has earned Ms. Holland a spot in the Barron’s Advisor Hall of Fame.
Ms. Holland is the Founder of Abacus Planning Group, Inc., a holistic financial advisory firm with over $1.7 billion in assets under management with offices in Columbia and Greenville, SC. Ms. Holland consistently appears on top advisor lists such as the aforementioned Barron’s Top Advisors, Barron’s 100 Top Women Advisors, Financial Times 300 and is a frequent speaker at national conferences. The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors recognized Ms. Holland as one of the “30 Most Influential People” in its 30-year history.
When asked what this achievement means to her, Ms. Holland says:
“One of my life goals is to accelerate the movement of the field of financial advice from an industry to a profession. I think the recognition of a fiduciary advisor in Barron’s Advisors Hall of Fame is another step forward for consumers and advisors.”
Ms. Holland is a dedicated volunteer in her profession and community and is currently a member of the Clemson University Foundation Board (Chair, Investment Committee), Children’s Trust of South Carolina Board of Trustees, United Way of the Midlands Board, Midland’s Technical College Foundation Board, South Carolina Special Olympics Board, Institute for the Fiduciary Standard, Chairman’s Council, American Bible Society Investment Committee and Together Women Rise Board.
Ms. Holland is married to P. Douglas Quackenbush and has a daughter, Hannah J. Quackenbush. Weekends often find Ms. Holland reading a book, trying to count birds, or weeding her herb garden.
