SBA South Carolina District Office kicks off nominations for 2024 National Small Business Week Awards

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) South Carolina District Office has officially launched the call for nominations for the 2024 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year Award. If you know a small business with exceptional innovation, growth, community engagement or resilience, put them in the spotlight by submitting a nomination. Don’t miss the opportunity to honor the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our economy forward.

This esteemed annual event aims to recognize the remarkable contributions of small businesses nationwide. * Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony hosted by the City of Columbia – Office of Business Opportunities and the SBA South Carolina District Office.

“We look forward to recognizing our state’s outstanding small businesses and entrepreneurs with these awards, which are one of the nation’s highest honors for small business achievement.” said South Carolina District Director R. Gregg White.

  • Rural Small Business Person of the Year ( District)

  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year (District)

The South Carolina District Office must receive all nominations by electronic submission ONLY to the District’s BOX account https://sba.app.box.com/f/6e3719d774b34ff1804c69f9fd96e01a  no later than 4 p.m. ET on December 7, 2023.
