Clinton High School Girls Tennis Team Advances to Third Round of SCHSL AAA Playoffs

In a thrilling showdown at the Clinton Middle School tennis courts, the Clinton High School Girls Tennis Team secured a resounding victory against the Seneca Bearcats. The CHS Girls Tennis Team now advances to the third round of the SCHSL AAA playoffs.
Chandler Dailey, leading the charge as the #1 singles player, displayed dominance on the court. Her impressive performance culminated in a well-earned victory, defeating her opponent with a final score of 6-2, 6-1. Not far behind, Libby Dailey at #2 singles demonstrated her skill and determination, emerging victorious with scores of 6-4, 6-4.
The momentum continued with Kimora Wesley at #3 singles, who left no room for doubt as she cruised to a triumphant win with scores of 6-2, 6-1. Carley MacMillan, competing at #4 singles, contributed to the team’s success by securing a convincing victory with scores of 6-4, 6-2.
While the Clinton High School Girls Tennis Team displayed remarkable performances in the top four singles positions, the Red Devils experienced a minor setback on courts 5 and 6, but their overall performance was very strong.
With this inspiring win against the Seneca Bearcats, the CHS Girls Tennis Team is now gearing up for their next challenge. On Thursday at 5:00 pm, they will face off against the Belton Honea Path team at the Belton town courts.
