Spartanburg gives nonprofits raise over $70,000 for Giving Tuesday at the 4th Annual Brew Good event

Spartanburg Gives hosted the 4th Annual Brew Good for Giving Tuesday event at Fr8yard on November 28th with over 200 community members gathering to support 25+ participating nonprofits, with funky tunes from the Ray Jones Collective, free brews, and local giving.
Spartanburg Gives nonprofits collectively raised over $74,000 during Giving Tuesday this year and were surprised during the event with $2,500 in Giving Tuesday grants raffled off by Women Giving for Spartanburg and $5,000 in grants from the Mary Black Foundation.
“Last year we were thrilled to give $1500 in Giving Tuesday Grants to local nonprofits to help them reach their giving goals, and we were able to add two more $500 grants this year.” said Pamela Health, Chair Women Giving for Spartanburg.
Spartanburg Gives also launched their Love Where You Give Fundraiser, which runs through December 20th allowing the community to support all 27 organizations with one donation at spartanburggives.org/donations/brew-good-2023.
