More than 3,000 degrees conferred on Fall 2023 Gamecock graduates

Thousands of students at the University of South Carolina and across the USC system received their degrees during Monday’s Fall 2023 commencement ceremonies. President Michael Amiridis delivered remarks at the main ceremony and Michael Myrick, a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the recipient of the 2023 Michael J. Mungo Graduate Teaching Award, spoke at the doctoral hooding.

- 2,035 degrees from the Columbia campus, including graduate and professional degrees
- 523 from USC Upstate
- 319 from USC Aiken
- 129 from USC Beaufort
- 37 from USC Sumter
- 34 from USC Lancaster
- 14 from USC Salkehatchie
