Free Health Screenings and Vaccinations at Clinton Library: Empowering Adult Wellnes

The Clinton Library will host a day of free health screenings on Friday, January 26, from 2-5 pm, in collaboration with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine Carolinas. The initiative aims to provide vital clinical health assessments and wellness education to adults in the region.
The event will offer general health screenings, including blood pressure and glucose level testing, essential for routine health check-ups. Sessions on Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), a hands-on approach to diagnosing and treating medical conditions, will also be included.
Highlights of the event include flu and Covid vaccinations provided by the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). DHEC will offer education on maintaining good health, addressing the ongoing challenges of the pandemic.
To participate, patrons can sign up by calling 864-833-1853 or visiting the Clinton Library at 107 Jacobs Highway. Walk-ins will be accepted at the discretion of the facilitators, ensuring accessibility.
