Visions Unveiled’ highlights art of Lander’s MAT students
March 19, 2024“Visions Unveiled,” the third exhibit of artwork created by students enrolled in Lander University’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, recently made its debut at the University’s art gallery.
The exhibit also features artwork created by K-12 students under the guidance of Lander’s MAT participants in their classrooms. The artwork will be on display until March 20 at Lander’s Art Gallery, located inside the Josephine B. Abney Cultural Center.

The exhibit also featured acrylic and oil paintings and photography created by Kennedy Henjes, Erin Anderson and MacKenzie Kirkland.
The MAT program at Lander focuses on art education and is designed for the practical preparation of teachers seeking initial K-12 certification in art.
