Gautham Gondi, M.D. joins Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery, PA

Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery, PA announced the addition of Dr. Gautham Gondi to the team as of May 1st, 2024.
Dr. Gondi joins us from OrthoVirgina in Lynchburg where he specialized in outpatient orthopedic surgical procedures. As a leader in the field for over two decades, he now brings his expertise in minimally invasive hand, foot/ankle, quadriceps sparing total knee replacement, and anterior hip replacement to Columbia.

Having completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University in 1988, Dr. Gondi continued on to Medical School at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he graduated in 1992. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in 1997.
Dr. Gondi is a Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty board certification in Sports Medicine. He is a Diplomate and member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Having grown up in the Midlands, Dr. Gondi is pleased to be coming back home to Columbia. He attended both Spring Valley High and Irmo High Schools and is proud to have helped Irmo win a state tennis championship in 1983. Dr. Gondi looks forward to serving his hometown and is accepting new patients with orthopaedic needs.
