As the weekend approaches, Laurens is gearing up for another edition of It’s Finally Friday, and this one promises to be fun. Set the backdrop of the Public Square, this Friday’s lineup of entertainment and activities has something for everyone.
Pooch Parade: Kicking off the festivities at 6:00 PM is the Pooch Parade, organized by the Laurens County Humane Society. Pet lovers, get ready to show off your furry friends in style! To participate, simply sign up on the Laurens County Humane Society’s Facebook page. Winners in each category will receive a $50 Main Street Laurens gift card.
Live Music by Stone Groove: Following the Pooch Parade at 7:00 PM, get ready to rock out to the classic tunes of Stone Groove, brought to you by the LHS Class of 1979. It’s a nostalgic evening for all those who roamed the halls of Laurens High School in ’79—come reconnect with old friends and dance the night away.
The Children’s Museum of the Upstate: This It’s Finally Friday is also special as it marks the debut of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate on Courthouse Plaza, thanks to Laurens County First Steps.
