City of Laurens to Dedicate New Municipal Center

The City of Laurens is preparing for a special event: the dedication of its new Municipal Center. This ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM at 250 W. Laurens Street, Laurens. The city invites all residents and community members to join in this celebration.
The event will feature two notable guests. Former Chief Justice Jean H. Toal of the South Carolina Supreme Court will be in attendance, along with Chrissie C. Latimore, South Carolina’s US Marshal. Both have made significant contributions to the state and will add a special touch to the occasion.
The new Municipal Center represents Laurens’ commitment to improving public services and supporting the community. The dedication will include a tour of the new building and provide information about the services it will offer.
