Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio moves to Aston’s McDaniel Village

23-year-old family owned and operated business expands services
Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio is pleased to announce it is relocating to an expanded 2,040-square-foot space at the nearby McDaniel Village shopping center. Built on a passion for bringing craftmanship and artistry to creating pieces that delight customers for generations, the new store features two additional jewelry showcases, an open-concept design for observing the custom design process, and room for more staff.
“We’re excited to begin this new chapter in McDaniel Village,” said Mike Ponthieux, founder and GIA Graduate Gemologist. “This move allows us to expand our offerings and continue to deliver the personalized experience our customers have come to expect over the past two decades.”
Mike opened Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio in 2001 with his wife, Wanda, driven by an enthusiasm for jewelry making that began in elementary school. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, he established the studio to showcase his expertise in custom jewelry design, allowing him to create unique, high-quality pieces for customers.
“Our new space in McDaniel Village will enable us to better serve our clients and inspire new creations,” said Wanda Ponthieux, co-founder and lead designer. “We’re looking forward to being part of this vibrant shopping center.”
Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio offers a full range of services, including custom jewelry design, repairs, appraisals, and restorations.
Its comprehensive custom design process typically takes 6-8 weeks from start to finish. The process includes a consultation, computer-aided design (CAD), 3D-printed prototype, casting, bench work, and final inspection, with all steps completed in house using state-of-the-art equipment.
Ponthieux’s Jewelry Design Studio joins a variety of tenants at McDaniel Village including Augusta Nails, Bad Daddy’s, Garrison’s Opticians, Great Clips, Kate Carlyle, Labels Designer Consignment, Oriental House, Paisley and Paper Palm Beach Tan, Panera Bread, Pet Supermarket, Pure Barre, Stretch Lab, Davani’s, and Vestique.
