American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25 Honors Members for Outstanding Contributions
July 26, 2024During the regular Auxiliary meeting at Blah-Blah Taco on July 24, 2024, Donna King, President of the American Legion Lakeland-Garrett Unit 25 Auxiliary, honored two distinguished members by awarding certificates in recognition of their exceptional contributions.
Jeanette Sain, an esteemed Auxiliary Unit 25 Legionnaire, was celebrated for her outstanding community service and volunteer work across multiple organizations, including the Laurens County Veterans Administration. Sain’s dedication to the community exemplifies the spirit of service and commitment that the Auxiliary values.
Denise Harter, a dedicated member of Clinton’s Post 56 Auxiliary, was also recognized for her significant achievement in completing and passing the state American Legion Auxiliary Leadership test. Her accomplishment underscores the Auxiliary’s focus on empowering its members through leadership development.
“We are proud of these women,” stated President King. “They are great examples of the type of members that the Auxiliary attracts and empowers.”
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25 holds its regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the First United Methodist Church, located at 244 W. Main St., Laurens, SC. Veterans’ spouses and descendants of veterans are encouraged to attend and participate in these meetings, fostering a supportive community dedicated to serving veterans and their families.
