Adams and Reese expands commercial real estate practice with Drew English

Adams and Reese LLP announced the addition of Partner Drew English, the newest member of the firm’s Corporate Services Practice Group.

English has more than 25 years in commercial real estate acquisition and development, commercial lending, and corporate transactions, representing developers, investors, lenders, and growing businesses throughout South Carolina and neighboring states.

Within his commercial real estate practice, English assists commercial real estate clients in property acquisition, leasing, permitting and entitlements, development agreements, permanent loan facilities and refinancings, and dispositions. English’s representation spans the Southeast as he serves as legal counsel to regional commercial developers in the acquisition and development of real property for commercial shopping centers anchored by major national retailers throughout South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina.

English maintains a corporate transactions practice, negotiating and drafting joint venture agreements, operating agreements and shareholder agreements for limited liability companies and corporations.

His practice also extends to forestry, serving as counsel to a timber investment management organization (TIMO) in the acquisition, management, and divestiture of timber assets throughout the Southeast.

English graduated from Wofford College (1995) and the University of South Carolina School of Law (1998).
