El Poblano Mexican Restaurant, known for its authentic Mexican cuisine, has expanded to Clinton, SC, opening its fourth location since 2009. With successful establishments in Chapin, Newberry, and Union, owner Abel Roman has brought his popular eatery to the former Fatz Café location at the interstate.
The restaurant held a soft opening on Thursday, August 15, and by Friday night, the excitement was evident with a long line and a wait to get in for dinner. Although El Poblano is still awaiting its liquor license, expected on Monday, August 19, the restaurant will soon offer a full bar to complement its extensive menu.
The menu features a wide range of options, catering to various tastes. According to the Vincente, the Clinton Manager, among the crowd-pleasers are the Pollo Fundido and Tres Amigos, which have been fan favorites at the other locations.
El Poblano Mexican Restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., ready to serve the Clinton community with the rich flavors that have made it a popular dining spot in its other locations.
