Registration open for Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run and Walk on Nov. 13 & 14

Register before it sells out and get a running start on the holiday season

Runners and walkers of all experience levels are invited to a magical sneak peek of the Holiday Festival of Lights. This year’s Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run and Walk takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 and Thursday, Nov. 14 at James Island County Park. Registration is now open and both nights are expected to sell out soon, so interested participants should sign up today!

Be among the first to experience the enchantment of hundreds of stunning light displays during this two-mile, non-competitive run and walk. Runners and walkers will get up close views of the light displays before the Holiday Festival of Lights opens to the general public on Nov. 15.

Admission to the event will be $38 per vehicle of up to 15 people. Each vehicle must have a ticket for entry. We recommend arriving at the park by 6 p.m. Park gates will close to traffic at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning shortly thereafter. Roads will reopen to traffic when all pedestrians have cleared the road.

Registration is required for the Fun Run and Walk, and this event is expected to sell out soon. Gold Passes are not valid for t this event. Registration is available at https://ccprc.com/1184/Holiday-Fun-Run-Walk.

The Fun Run and Walk is a wheelchair and stroller-friendly course. Socialized dogs on short, non-retractable leashes are welcome. Retractable leashes, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates/rollerblades and scooters are not permitted.

This year’s Holiday Festival of Lights will open to the general public on Nov. 15 and will be open nightly through Dec. 31, 2024, at James Island County Park.
