LCCT Set to Present ‘Snow White and the Prince’: A Magical Journey of Love, Laughter, and Adventure!
September 25, 2024The Laurens County Community Theater (LCCT) is bringing a beloved classic to life with their upcoming production of Snow White and the Prince. This charming adaptation promises a delightful blend of magic, humor, and heart as the timeless tale of love and adventure unfolds on stage.
Set to debut on October 4 at the Clinton High School Auditorium, located at 18132 SC-72, Clinton, the production boasts a talented cast.
Asia Hopwood makes her LCCT debut as the kind-hearted Snow White. Hopwood, who has performed in productions such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and A Christmas Carol, is eager to enchant audiences in this iconic role.
Joining her on stage is JP Jaramillo as the dashing Prince Philippe. Also new to LCCT, Jaramillo brings his enthusiasm and previous stage experience from roles like Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh and Bill Sikes in Oliver! to this performance.
The wicked Evil Queen will be portrayed by LCCT veteran Amy Link, who is relishing the opportunity to “try” being mean once again. A familiar face in the local theater scene, Link has taken on several memorable roles over the years, including Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz.
Dylan English, in his fifth show with LCCT, plays Rupert, the loyal butler to Prince Philippe. Having appeared in productions such as Willy Wonka and The Little Mermaid, English views this role as his most significant to date and is excited to bring the character to life.
Rounding out the cast are Silas Schiera as the Magic Mirror, Gemma Gearheart as Snow White’s Nurse Maid, and a spirited ensemble of dwarves and royal secretaries, including Lizzie Davidson, Keely Reynolds, and a talented group of young actors playing the dwarves.
Showtimes for Snow White and the Prince are October 4, 5, 10, and 11 at 7:30 PM, with matinee performances on October 6 and 12 at 3:00 PM. LCCT invites the community to come out and enjoy this enchanting production, which promises to be fun for the whole family.
