Laurens County Opens Point of Distribution for Storm Recovery Supplies

A Point of Distribution (POD) for storm recovery supplies is now open at 105 Bolt Drive in Laurens, located in the Voter Registration parking lot. The POD operates as a drive-thru and will remain open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Traffic should enter from Evelyn Street/Bolt Drive, beside Walgreens on North Harper Street, with two lanes forming to streamline access to the distribution point. Vehicles will exit onto Hillcrest Drive after receiving supplies.

The POD is distributing essential items, including Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs), water, and tarps, to assist those affected by the recent storm. Residents are asked to be patient during the process and to share this information with those in need.

Another distribution location in Clinton will open Thursday morning, October 3 at 10:00 AM.
