October 7, 2024By Staff Reporter

The FEMA team, consisting of 4-6 employees at individual tables, is available to answer questions and assist those having difficulty filing their disaster relief applications. One FEMA employee was seen patiently guiding an elderly resident through the process, providing helpful information to ensure the application was completed accurately.
According to the site manager, FEMA representatives will be onsite until 4 p.m., with the possibility of staying until 5 p.m. if permission is granted. Information regarding additional days of assistance is currently unavailable. However, The Buzz has requested that the FEMA information officer (not onsite) provide updates on any future dates so the community can be informed. The onsite manager does not have this information.
