Charleston Southern makes U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges list

Charleston Southern University is once again listed on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges list, ranking in the Regional Universities South for Best Colleges, Best Colleges for Veterans, and Top Performers on Social Mobility categories.
Charleston Southern also ranked nationally in the Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing category.
President B. Keith Faulkner said, “As an alum and as president, it gives me great pleasure to celebrate Charleston Southern University’s continued inclusion on the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges list. The Charleston Southern family is commemorating the university’s 60th anniversary in 2024, and we have started the academic year with a bang, including record enrollment, success in academics, on the athletic field, and in student engagement.”
According to U.S. News & World Report, the Top Performers on Social Mobility category “assesses how well schools graduated economically disadvantaged students.”
CSU’s commitment to serving all students is underscored by the creation of The Hub for the 2024-2025 academic year. Academic student success functions are now in one location, and additional programs are being rolled out.
CSU’s Passport to Purpose program is designed to help students discover their passion, design their pathway, develop their potential, and declare their purpose, enabling them to embark on a life of significance after graduation. The program is designed to help students graduate in a traditional four-year timeline.
