Junior League of Columbia celebrates the season with annual Holiday Market fundraiser

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit with Junior League of Columbia’s highly-anticipated Holiday Market fundraising event! This year, Holiday Market will take place December 5 – 8, at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds inside the Cantey & Goodman buildings. As Junior League of Columbia continues to celebrate their 100th year of service, this event remains the shopping extravaganza of the year, showcasing over one hundred unique merchants from around the country.

This shopping event raises over $250,000 to support Junior League’s mission and programs, which include furthering their vision of strengthening the health and well-being of children and families in the Midlands.

As the League’s largest annual fundraiser, Holiday Market draws thousands of shoppers every year. Shoppers can participate in a variety of special events in addition to general shopping.  Although tickets to Ladies Night Out, Holiday Market’s Thursday night shopping event, are sold out, tickets are still available for Holiday Ball, Sundaes with Santa, and Market General Admission Shopping.

The always festive Holiday Ball is the perfect event to kick off holiday celebrations!  Attendees will dance the night away with live music, enjoy private shopping, and can look forward to delicious food and beverage options at this Friday evening black-tie optional events.

Our Sundaes with Santa is also a highlight for children and families alike!  Guests can dress their children in their Sunday best for photos with Santa, and children will be able to enjoy games, crafts, and an ice cream sundae bar.

Online ticket sales are now open for all events. Any tickets purchased online will be available at Will Call during available hours. General Admission, Holiday Ball, and Sundaes with Santa tickets will be available at the door. Parking is $5 for all events, excluding the Holiday Ball.

Dates and times for 2024’s Holiday Market events are as follows:

• Market General Admission (December 5 – December 8; 9:30 am-5:00 pm Thursday & Friday; 9:30 am-6 pm Saturday; 12 pm-5 pm Sunday) $10 per ticket, granting access for all four days of the Holiday Market
• Ladies Night Out (December 5, 6-10pm): SOLD OUT
• Holiday Ball (December 6, 6:30-11pm): $70 for an individual, $130 for a couple
• Sundaes with Santa (December 8, 12-4pm): Tickets available at the door for $8/child; admission is free for children twelve months and under.  Adults may use their Holiday Market ticket stub for event entry.
