South Bend Winery Announces Closure After Four Years of Operation
October 21, 2024South Bend Winery has announced the difficult decision to close its doors after four years of serving the community. The owners cited several financial challenges, including rising costs of liquor liability insurance, supplies, and food, as well as the strain of a down economy. Additionally, a recent storm caused significant damage, further impacting the business and contributing to this tough decision.
In a heartfelt message, the owners expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support they have received over the years. “It has been the joy of our lives to share our love, family, wine, and space with each of you,” they said.
Although the winery will be closing, it will remain open through November for live music events, with 30% off all merchandise and 20% off cases of wine. The kitchen will also stay open during this time, offering patrons a final chance to enjoy the winery before its closure.
The owners encourage the community to stop by and take part in these final weeks, thanking everyone for their continued support.
