Grand opening for The Toasty Hot Spot in Five Points set for November 4

The Toasty Hot Spot will officially re-open its doors in Five Points on November 4. Located at 2002 Greene Street Suites A & B, the Toasty Hot Spot is a casual eatery offering breakfast and lunch comfort food, including omelets, sandwiches and grits. The restaurant was previously located at 1305 Lady St.
The grand opening celebration will kick off at 10 a.m. and feature free samples, live music, and giveaways for the first 50 customers. It will be attended by Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann, representatives from the City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities as well as the Five Points Association.
Co-owners Sarah Greene and Mark Thompson said they designed the space to foster a cozy, welcoming atmosphere where patrons can enjoy both quick bites and leisurely meals. “We wanted to create a place where people can grab something delicious on the go or stay and relax,” Greene said.
The menu includes a variety of hot sandwiches, soups, and salads, along with specialty coffee drinks crafted by local baristas.
