Cason Development Group grows with new Property Manager

Cason Development Group has added Carson Gorenflo as a Property Manager. As a property manager, Gorenflo will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial and apartment properties.

Carson Gorenflo
A graduate of the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, with a degree in business administration, Gorenflo joins Cason from Republic National Distributing Co. in Columbia, where he worked in sales support. He previously worked as a property manager for Evans RVA Homes in Richmond, Va.
“I believe Cason Development Group’s mission and values perfectly align with what I was looking for in a workplace environment,” Gorenflo said. “I’m excited to get started with a team which has done so much for the city of Columbia, and I am looking forward to being a part of it all.”
A native of Richmond, Va., Gorenflo came to Columbia to study at USC. While at the Moore School, he led a student team working on a Risk Management Consulting Project for the USC Police Department and Athletics Department. The project included risk assessments, a Continuity of Operations Plan, Scenario Based Planning, and making final recommendations “that we felt were the most vital and manageable. We tackled this project of around 150 hours between four different people, and we presented it to them after three months of work,” Gorenflo said.
Gorenflo is active in the community, having volunteered for the past three years as a lacrosse coach at Hammond School, where he coached the middle school team before moving up to the varsity team this past year. He also enjoys spending time outdoors hunting or fishing, and going to any USC sports events.
