Reminder: Scots & Brats Festival This Saturday in Clinton!
October 30, 2024Don’t miss out! This Saturday, November 2, 2024, Main Street Clinton will bring Scots & Brats to the 100 block of Gary Street, transforming The Lumberyard into a lively celebration of Scottish heritage and Presbyterian College’s Blue Hose pride. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., this family-friendly festival offers an evening of music, games, and local food and drink for everyone to enjoy.
“After all the challenges we’ve faced this fall, Scots & Brats is a way to celebrate our community’s resilience,” said Jim Spry, President of Main Street Clinton. “We’re looking forward to a night of good food, music, and community fellowship that everyone can enjoy together.”
Thanks to the support of Clinton Newberry Natural Gas Authority, the City of Clinton, and Prisma Health, Scots & Brats will feature free games and activities, including Big Air Mobile attractions, axe throwing, Gamers Garage, and pop-up putt-putt. The festival also promises a fantastic music lineup: enjoy the Appalachian Freunde Polka Band from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by Andrew Wooten from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Visitors can indulge in a variety of food and drink from local vendors, including brats, BBQ, funnel cakes, craft beers, and more Clinton favorites.
With recent challenges from Hurricane Helene, Scots & Brats provides a timely opportunity for the community to come together. “Our sponsors’ generosity allowed us to keep these activities free for everyone,” Spry added. “We hope this event will bring everyone together and help us look forward to the holiday season.”
Come out this Saturday and enjoy an unforgettable evening celebrating Clinton’s heritage and Blue Hose pride. Whether you’re out with family or friends, Scots & Brats has something for everyone!
