Robinson Gray Member Grady Beard joins board of National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network

Grady Beard, a member of Robinson Gray law firm, has joined the board of directors of the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network.
He was nominated and elected to the board at the organization’s annual meeting in Denver, Colorado on September 27th.
The NWCDN is an organization of independent law firms in the United States and Canada with an established workers’ compensation practice and experience in defending employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation and related actions.
Robinson Gray is proud to be the only South Carolina member of NWCDN. In addition to Grady, several other members of the firm’s workers’ compensation team are involved in NWCDN, including Nick Haigler, Amanda Mellard, and Kelly Morrow.
Grady Beard serves on Robinson Gray’s executive committee and focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, workers’ compensation mediation and appellate advocacy. He is a co-author of The Law of Workers’ Compensation Insurance in South Carolina, Sixth Edition, and a fellow in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He served as president of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association from 2022-2023. He has been consistently recognized by Best Lawyers in America.
