Historic Halloween 2024 Recap: Laurens County Museum’s Exclusive Night of Fun!
October 30, 2024The Laurens County Museum hosted its Historic Halloween 2024 event on October 29th, inviting museum members and their guests to an evening of nostalgia and Halloween spirit. Attendees gathered from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, enjoying a night filled with old-fashioned games, sweet treats, and prizes in the cozy, festive setting of the museum.
The event featured historic bingo, where guests tried their luck at winning prizes from local favorites, including Groucho’s, Jersey Mike’s, Starbucks, Great Crêpes, and more. Another highlight was the cakewalk, a classic game that delighted participants as they strolled to music in hopes of winning delicious homemade cakes by Jim Miller. The cakewalk proved to be especially popular, providing a sweet reward for each of the four lucky winners.
Museum members and guests mingled, dressed up in costumes or simply came to enjoy the festive ambiance, making it a memorable night of community and fun.
