The holiday season has arrived, and there’s no better place to experience the magic of Christmas than downtown Laurens! From the spectacular Tree Lighting Ceremony and Christmas Market to Caroling & Cookies, the Christmas Parade, and a cozy Movie Night at the Capitol, the City of Laurens is set to dazzle residents and visitors alike with an array of festive events.
This year, Santa’s Village makes its grand debut, offering a magical destination for families to explore. Featuring family-friendly activities, visits with Santa, carriage rides, and a special appearance by Mrs. Claus, Santa’s Village is the perfect place to soak in the spirit of the season.

Dec. 6th: City of Laurens Tree Lighting
3 PM – 9 PM
Kick off the season with our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! The festivities include a Holiday Vendor Market, Santa’s Village with family activities, Bike Riding with Santa, a special visit from Mrs. Claus, carriage rides, and much more. It’s an evening filled with joy and wonder for all ages.
Dec. 7th: Saturday Christmas Market
10 AM – 2 PM
Find unique gifts and holiday treats at our festive Christmas Market, featuring local vendors and artisans. It’s the perfect way to start your holiday shopping while supporting small businesses.
Dec. 7th: 2024 Christmas Parade
4 PM – 5:30 PM
Join us for a spectacular Christmas Parade, showcasing festive floats, music, and a special Grand Marshal. Keep an eye out for Santa as he spreads holiday cheer throughout the community!
Dec. 13th: Holiday Wine & Chocolate Tasting
6 PM – 9 PM
Main Street Laurens invites you to an indulgent evening of wine and chocolate tasting. Stroll through charming shops on the square, sip, savor, and shop while enjoying holiday delights.
Dec. 20th: Christmas Cookies & Caroling
5 PM – 8 PM
Celebrate the season with festive caroling and delicious holiday cookies in the heart of downtown Laurens. Bring your family and friends for a sweet and musical evening full of cheer.
Dec. 23rd: Christmas at The Capitol
Enjoy a cozy movie night at The Capitol Theatre with a classic family film. Popcorn, drinks, and candy will be provided for all attendees, making it the perfect way to relax and enjoy the holiday spirit together.
