Columbia Connectors hosts landmark coffee event with local leaders

November 18, 2024

The Columbia Connectors recently hosted its largest coffee event of the year, bringing together a diverse group of local community members for an engaging and informative panel discussion. The event featured notable public figures, including South Carolina House Representatives Heather Bauer and Seth Rose, Richland County Councilwoman Chakisse Newton, and Columbia City Councilman Will Brennan.

The event provided members with a unique opportunity to engage directly with these leaders, asking questions about key issues currently impacting the community, upcoming initiatives, and the November election. The open discussion fostered an engaging dialogue, offering attendees a deeper understanding of local governance, as well as challenges and opportunities that are shaping Columbia’s future.

“We were honored to have the opportunity to welcome these local community leaders to our event,” said Jeff Lawler, founder of the Columbia Connectors. “Their insights from our questions were well received and their engagement with our membership made this our biggest and most successful coffee meeting to date. The Columbia Connectors extends its gratitude to our panel guests and all attendees who helped make the event a resounding success.”
