Downtown Laurens is transforming into a winter wonderland on Friday, December 6, for the highly anticipated Holiday Kick-Off Weekend. With a lineup of festive events and activities, this event is sure to delight visitors of all ages and set the tone for a joyous holiday season.

From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Christmas Market will be in full swing, showcasing local vendors with unique gifts, holiday treats, and handcrafted treasures. Downtown businesses on the square will also join the celebration, remaining open late and offering holiday deals and gift ideas for those tackling their shopping lists.

Meanwhile, the enchanting Santa’s Village, open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, will feature family-friendly activities, classic carols performed by the Davidson Brass, and even a special visit from Mrs. Claus.

At 7:00 PM, the festivities will reach a crescendo with the Official Tree Lighting Ceremony, illuminating the heart of Laurens with holiday cheer. Just 15 minutes later, at 7:15 PM, families can gather to enjoy the spectacular Santa’s Bike Light Parade, where brightly lit bikes and riders will bring the holiday spirit to life.
