Central SC Alliance announces rebranding to strengthen regional identity

December 5, 2024

Central SC Alliance, the regional public-private alliance advancing economic prosperity across the Midlands of South Carolina, publicly launched its refreshed brand identity on December 5. This new identity reflects the Alliance’s commitment to driving innovation and collaborating throughout the region and spotlighting its central location to the best of what South Carolina has to offer.

The rebranding includes a refreshed logo, new brand assets and updated messaging designed to elevate the region’s profile among national and global audiences. Central SC Alliance will continue its 30-year legacy of supporting businesses, attracting new investments and advocating for infrastructure and workforce development, all while embracing the unique character and strengths of the region.

“Our new brand is more than a logo – it symbolizes the collective energy and forward momentum of our communities,” said Jason Giulietti, CEO of Central SC Alliance. “As we enter this exciting chapter, we remain focused on fostering economic opportunities that benefit all residents and businesses across our counties and the City of Columbia.”

The rebranding initiative highlights the Central SC Region’s strategic location. True to its name, the region is central to everything – including growing business sectors such as advanced manufacturing and life sciences, education and workforce development, and quality of life.

Key elements of the rebranding include:

  • A new logo that symbolizes the region’s central location within South Carolina.
  • A tagline, “Central to it all.”
  • A refreshed and modernized color palette.

“Central SC Alliance’s rebranding marks an important milestone in our journey to position the Midlands as a hub of innovation and economic opportunity,” said Matthew Shaffer, Board Chairman. “We look forward to what’s next for the Alliance and for our region.”
