208 N. Broad Brings New Flavors and Fresh Updates to Downtown Clinton
December 18, 2024For years, The Pasture has been a staple in Clinton, offering both quality food and a welcoming community atmosphere. Now, under new ownership, the beloved location has been reimagined as 208 N. Broad, a vibrant and updated restaurant concept designed to deliver elevated dining and guest satisfaction.
Marcus Cheeks, the former owner, shared his decision to step away from the restaurant business to focus on balance in his life. “Since 2017, I’ve dedicated and invested my time to the food service industry in Clinton to provide food, jobs, and opportunities in our community,” Cheeks said. “While I love servicing our community, I’m a man of God, a husband, and a father first.” Cheeks will continue his passion for food through catering but felt it was time to pass the torch.
Before his departure, Cheeks carefully selected a new owner to take over and surrounded her with a team committed to revitalizing the restaurant. The transition brings significant updates, including a remodeled space, refreshed menu offerings, and a renewed focus on customer experience. Guests can expect delicious new dishes, an emphasis on having inventory readily available, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects Clinton’s small-town charm.
“I fully trust that they will do their best to make the community of Clinton proud,” Cheeks continued. “And I hope that the community will do their best to show support for the new concept.”
The newly remodeled 208 N. Broad has already made a strong first impression. From its updated interior to its thoughtfully curated menu, the restaurant promises a fresh experience for both loyal patrons and new visitors alike.
Marcus Cheeks encourages the community to visit, meet the new team, and experience the changes firsthand. “The food has been updated (and is great), the building has been remodeled, and a huge emphasis has been placed on guest satisfaction.”
