Richland One’s director of career and technical education named South Carolina CTE Administrator of the Year

Chris Dinkins, Richland One’s director of career and technical education (CTE), has been named the 2025 CTE Administrator of the Year by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA).

The announcement was made March 4 during the SCASA 2025 Career & Technical Education Association/Office of Career & Technical Education (CTEA/OCTE) Spring Update meeting at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia.
The award is given to a career and technical education administrator in South Carolina who has served in that capacity at least three years. Dinkins has been Richland One’s director of career and technical education since November 2021.
“I am humbled and excited about being named SCASA 2025 CTE Administrator of the Year. It is encouraging to know the work we do not only matters, but it is also celebrated. I am a strong SCASA advocate, so I truly appreciate this recognition,” said Dinkins.
