Genesis Healthcare, which operates multiple Federally Qualified Health Centers across South Carolina, has once again earned national recognition for its commitment to exceptional patient care. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded Genesis Healthcare two badges for leadership in community health in 2025, including:

• Health Center Quality Leader – Gold
• Improving Health Care Access

This marks the fifth consecutive year Genesis Healthcare has received HRSA recognition, with continued placement among the top 10 percent of health centers nationwide. These awards highlight Genesis Healthcare’s focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes, expanding healthcare access, and leading efforts to reduce disparities among vulnerable and underserved populations.

In addition to its HRSA accolades, Genesis Healthcare has earned third-party certifications that reflect its commitment to excellence in patient care:

• Named a Pioneer in URAC’s Leaders in Performance Measurement Program, recognizing organizations that build trust in the quality of care through data-driven performance measurement.
• NCQA Certified Content Expert (CCE) in the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model for Genesis’ primary care locations, demonstrating Genesis’ expertise in transforming primary care practices to prioritize coordinated, team-based care focused on patients’ needs.
