Update on Pollard Family Still Displaced After Devastating House Fire

July 8, 2025

Kate and Dustin Pollard and their children are still without a home following the devastating house fire that destroyed everything they owned on June 30th. The fire has since been confirmed by their insurance company to have been caused by an electrical issue. Unfortunately, the claims process could take more than a month, meaning the Pollards will be displaced for an extended period.

The family continues to rely on temporary housing and the support of friends, neighbors, and strangers who have stepped up in meaningful ways.

“We are so incredibly grateful for every prayer, every donation, and every kind word,” Kate shared. “It’s been a heartbreaking time for our family, but the love and support we’ve received has reminded us that we’re not alone.”

The needs remain great, and the Pollards continue to face daily challenges as they work to rebuild their lives. Prayers are greatly appreciated and if you’re able, consider making a donation to the GoFundMe campaign set up by neighbor Brandy Koon to help cover housing, clothing, food, and other essentials.

Even small contributions make a big difference. Please share their story and keep this precious family in your prayers as they move forward, one day at a time.
