State Accommodations Tax funds 35 projects
July 17, 2025City Council Awards $3 Million to Support Local Tourism
Overnight visitors in Greenville are supporting your favorite tourism events and venues. On Monday, City Council designated more than $3 million from the state accommodations tax fund and awarded grants to 35 projects.
Those receiving grants in 2025 include Artisphere: Arts. Music. Culture, the Greenville Convention Center, Euphoria Greenville, the Metropolitan Arts Council, BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, the Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament, The Sport of Bowling – USBC Open Championships, Bank of America Fall for Greenville and the Greenville Jazz Fest.

Members are selected from the hospitality and lodging industries, as well as from the community at large. City residency is required for at-large members, and hospitality and lodging members must work in the city limits. Apply before August 1
